I assist families in understanding 504 Plans and the accommodations that may help their child successfully access his or her education.

Meeting Preparation

Preparation can make an enormous difference in an IEP, 504, Child Study Team, or other school meeting. I help parents organize their concerns, questions, documentation, and priorities before the meeting.

Educational Record Review

I can review relevant educational records, evaluations, progress reports, IEPs, 504 Plans, and other school documents to help families understand their child’s educational situation.

Parent Advocacy and Guidance

Parents sometimes know that something isn’t working but aren’t sure what to ask for or what their options are. I provide individualized guidance to help families identify concerns and communicate them effectively.

School Communication

Clear, documented communication with a school district is important. I can help parents organize their concerns and prepare effective written communication regarding their child’s educational needs.
